When will Gaga release her next pop album?

I just realized... it's probably going to be several years before we get a new pop album from Gaga... think about it...

- She's touring for Joanne for the rest of 2017, so she wouldn't release this year.

- Supposedly C3C is still coming? Right, Tony?

- ASIB isn't released until Sept 2018... I can't see her launching a new pop album right before that, especially when she's trying to be seen as a serious Hollywood actress. I would imagine she'll be off the radar in the 6 months before the film.

- ASIB promo will continue thru to the Oscars in 2019.

So, I think it's going to be AT LEAST 2 years before we get her next pop album.

Also, I can't see her recording the album until she sees the reception to ASIB. That will dictate her next pop move, I would imagine.

Whatever Gaga does can be a bit unpredictable and no one knows what she'll do lol but I kind of like that because she never fails to impress

If we've waited for Joanne, we can wait for LG6

2021 maybe.

Because on 2019, she will release a rock album.

YaaaasGaga

I'd rather wait for a quality album than have her churn out mediocre work every year like some artists do :reductive:

I hope and believe we'll get her EP between all of this so she can quench our thirsts.

my guess is Spring/Summer 2019 but we have to see if her and Tony are seriously planning a C3C... in that case I feel LG6 will be released at the end of 2019 or at the beginning of 2020

Honestly, the more I think about it... she's in an amazing spot right now.

- She just reminded the world she is the best in the game at female dance pop with Super Bowl and Coachella.

- Female pop is not selling atm. Will likely be a while before it surges again.

- Katy's album release is a disaster, even tho the songs are bops. Signals the end of an era.

When you think about it, if this is the "end of the era" for her generation of pop gurls, she basically went out on top with the Super Bowl. And it's actually quite amazing that she's the first of her peers to land a starring role in a Oscar-contender Hollywood film. Like any good investor, she's diversified her portfolio.

By the time Fall 2019 hits, it will have been 3 years since Joanne. And **6** years since her last electronic dance album.

If she returns to club pop in 2019 after a 6 year hiatus, the world will be ready. Trends will likely have begun shifting back to female pop.

... but also, if it doesn't go that way, as long as ASIB does well (and... if she wins an Oscar???) her career could have a different trajectory entirely. If making electronic dance bops is not "the thing" in 2019 she will have the freedom to choose whatever genre she wants.

Well, Joanne came out less than a year ago, so maybe 2018 or 2019

I would prefer a rock album tho :D

Life has a hopeful undertone |-/
