Guest
Harry Styles performed for NBC's Today Show to promote his solo album, Sign of the Times wearing this : Now that reminded me of Elvis back in '56 when he performed his first singles as well The same color suit, with a black shirt and even the damn guitar resembles Elvis'. Is Harry tryna be the next Elvis, is it a subliminal message to let us know that Elvis is still alive and will he big just as big as Elvis was considering that when he first started most of his fans were horny teenage girls, a lot of similiarities if we compare their situation (not the talent of course). What do y'all think?

REALITY 76,367
I love that he seems to be inspired by a lot of old school rock artists. I mean, Sign of the Times is very Bowie-esque and everything from the fashion to his other songs isn't anything like popular music today, and is really harkening back to classic rock/folk stuff. I love it! 🦠🧙♀️🥀📸🎉👻🕺🧟💊💖☎️🔪👤🐺🌱🌎
calmar 22,064
Criticizing Harry Styles for giving homage to Elvis with his outfit is like lambasting Gaga's use of Bowie's lightning face sticker. You criticize them both (incorrectly, imo) or you let them both tribute artists that they look up to. 俺の勝利は揺るぎない
Head Empty 25,112
This style is way too common to be inspired by just one person. He just wants to be bold, and this is one of many (fairly common) ways to pull that off. KyliesChild 16,907
If Harry Styles was an artist you'd particularly enjoy, then this thread would replace the word copying with channeling (which would be more sensical in my opinion), especially since Presley has been a blatant influence to Styles. Harry chose Edward Sexton's designs because has created suits for other UK greats including Paul McCartney and John Lennon (the white suits featured on the Abbey Road album cover) and more recently Mark Ronson (for his wedding) whom are all great influences to him. Ooolong 4,440
Delusional. He wore a basic outfit and played guitar. Elvis was NOT the first, and Harry won't be the last. Not to mention, Elvis himself is widely argued about in regards to stealing from black artists. Spoiler And Harry has far more talent.
