The cool part of the choreo is the all female back up dancers acting as like, different "Worshippers" of Venus (which is SO well done, ****ing SLAY me Ricky!) It was only ever performed at X Factor in part, Graham Norton in fully (but hard to ascertain because of the lighting and camera angles) and then a different watered down form of the choreo was used at the ArtRAVE as part of their attempt to spread the dancers out across the stage and make it feel less concentrated on the center as they have admitted. I think the dance at the ArtRave was a bit less intense, but it did contain many similarities along with things that weren't truly changed. There's no full performance of the original with great camera angles to show all the different subtleties in the dance, but individual youtubers have pieced together some kind of composite. This is the full original choreo during the first verse/chorus from the main backup dancer's perspective (again, Gaga's choreo is the least interesting part, shes simultaneously Venus and worshipping Venus at the same time, and doing her own thing while going in and out of choreo, so its kind of confusing) This is the original backup dancer's version, but kinda hard to see at times because of the lighting. As you can see though, they are not all doing the same dance, they have different roles. And this group made a studio effort to combine it all, pretty well I think, but there is no "gaga" figure, they are all the different worshippers. It opens with the ArtRAVE opening, then stays mostly with the original choreo, but split into different groups, so you kind of have to watch to know which parts are original and which are added because we never saw full angles during the whole song. It's pretty good though and really captures the spirit the original was going for I think. It was all so well done, then the ArtRave kinda ruined it Shame we never got a FULL, good view of the song from top to bottom with no gimmicks, graham norton is the best we got, but the whole female only dancers, worshipping venus in their own way with seashell bikinis and natural, almost amazonian looks. It slays me to this day. Spoiler Also for fun, here is totally original choreo to it that ****ing slays but is not reminiscent of the original other than in spirit 私自身もこの世の中も誰もかれもが, どんなに華やかな人生でも, どんなに悲惨な人生でも, いつかは変貌し, 破壊され、消滅してしまう. すべてがもともとこの世に存在しない一瞬の幻想なのだから

HeartTrip 15
Don't drag me plz but this is coming from a place of complete honestly. Gagas dancing/choreo has always made me cringe. It always looks very awkward and the choreo isn't fluent. I absolutely LOVE the way britney danced in her prime and I was always envious that gaga couldn't dance like that. I love Gaga tho and her dancing def fits her style which is weird and quirky but I wouldn't put her in the category of "pop dancing queens".

The thing is, Gaga was never a trained dancer like Britney or Beyoncé who obviously did choreo for the sake of looking good. And I don't think casual viewers care all that much. They know Gaga to be a rather quirky figure with certain absurdities; no one is expecting a masterfully intricate sexy dance routine from Lady Gaga for the most part.
