I swear, she should send it to Country radio and see if it takes off...future CMA haha. Joanne is a close second lyrically, even though I would rank it higher in my favorite songs. The lyrics and her delivery of them is just so simply heavenly and heartbreaking...I've seen multiple people tear up when I've played this song. The whole album is, in fact, but those are my favorites. Sidenote: Not to rain on anyone's parade, but the songwriting on Million Reasons, though beautiful, totally comes off as generic to anyone who's listened to more than 5 mins of country music. Lyrically, Million Reasons could be any one of 50% of country music songs. Irregardless, it is still a beautiful song. I'm talkin' 'bout forever, baby.
