Now that I see it like that, Adele really does have the fewest iconic songs out of her peers. But those who are iconic are ICONIC.

JiU

She has a surprisingly little amount of huge hits if that makes sense. Only the top 4 were that, and she had only 5 top 10s. Quite interesting.

I'm surprised that Rolling in the Deep was bigger than Someone Like You :omg: Here both were big but Someone Like You was astronomical, I thought it was the same stateside :laughga:

(being from the US), i remember finding out the exact opposite thing as you just did. When I saw Someone Like You was bigger in Europe, i was pretty shocked. Personally, i like SLY better than RITD, but i just thought RITD was that worldwide massive Adele song that didn't leave any room for another song to compete with it. I mean it was HUGEEEEEEE in the US

Both were huge, to say the least. Even in Europe, I had the feeling RitD was the biggest as well. But, on the other hand, it was the Someone Like You performance at the Brit Awards that made Adele so popular (and pretty much changed the world), and that was before RitD got so big.

I love how all the covers look the same (with the exeption of "Send Your Love")
