Bio 23,538
Why do people here hate youtubers so much? lol Why do people say it's not a real job?
StarstruckIllusion 52,569
These "real job" comments are self shade, bc y'all don't know what a job is even defined as. As long as money is returned for work, it's a job. If YouTubers need a new job, then y'all need a new education

Thomas P 18,479
Serves these people right for thinking YouTube is a sustainable career. Honeslty bugs me how some people who simply post videos on YouTube, make more than doctors and teachers. EDIT I do want to preface after reading through the thread that I do think YouTube is a job the same way being a singer is. But like in music, if the money's not coming in because of the mass system you're working in, don't complain. I’m a simple guy to please, if you like Melodrama, we chill. This in turn drove off many advertisers and Youtube has to resort to damage control by restricting monetisation on certain types of content. Except their feud with pewdiepie was an attempt to get coins themselves considering they dug through random videos of his looking for maxi propaganda, then took **** from videos where he literally discusses how the media won't pay attention to what's actually in the video, but what will give them clicks. By no means defending some of the **** he's said but he's apologized enough for it and has even gone on to make specifically satire videos JUST to see if the WSJ would take the bait which they did. Idk if they thought he'd have a career collapse or what but he's still making money and still getting subscribers. Also the author who tried to end his career had actual racist, xenophobic, and sexist tweets on his own twitter that were dug up lol. emma roberts is an abuser

Sweetie, they have every right to complain, as if you actually knew the history of this, you would know that it's all YouTube, and the traditional media's fault for coming for PewDiePie with messy receipts. Nothing, but facts, sorry.
