She don't have time to commit in promoting new single rn, she is fully immersed on her acting career at the moment. Filming most scenes before she kicked off the Joanne World Tour. Isn't this plain to see? She gave us The Cure so the fans have something to hear until she finished her filming schedule. It is a treat, because it is new, not something off Joanne. Do not speculate what's not there. If Beck and Gaga have issues, she would never include the song in the first place. Once it is in the album, it is too late for anyone to block it from making it a single. She and her label might just not wanting that sing to be a single and the fans need to suck it up, deal with the fact there is. Panchecco 17,634 Posted May 4, 2017 Share Posted May 4, 2017 I think she made a video for John Wayne because she wanted us to have at least one music video that we liked (we all know how many people felt about PI and & MR visuals ) she probably chose John Wayne because it was well received by a lot of people (especially after VSFS) my guess (prior to The Cure release) was that she was going to release DIC as single right before summer and the tour but I think she probably wasn't even planning on doing so.. she probably would have released it as a single just because fans were demanding it I don't really get how you're so sure that DIC was supposed to be a single since the beginning tbh... is it because it's a fan favourite?
