DWUW also had a much better start than BA. That one could still change I suppose though. I think KP4 is off to a much worse start than ARTPOP. It is technically incorrect...TFM was NOT a proper studio album. But the era was big enough in it's own right. It might as well have been its own album. KP4 is shaping up to be Katy's worst album quality-wise and she's been lacking it throughout her career. They're trying to save the era with a lot of unnecessary collabs and useless promo without addressing the fact that Katy herself is the main reason the era is underperforming.
