Oh my gosh, another reason to fall in love with Kylie! Those vocals (why does she sing it on the lower key during live performances?!), that video, those lyrics, that orchestration! A good lead single for the compilation, and confessedly better than ‘Giving You Up’, though I like the latter better. It was her manifestation of returning back to her dance-pop roots after the urban-sounding “Body Language”. This is important as it has been her choice soundwise since then. (7) @Turuncan

So, you all can call me fake as hell, as this song only ranked #4 on my Top 50 list, while Slow was at the top. I give this song my 11 here though because it was made specifically for this album. How many singers release a beautiful, pulsing anthem that become a classic part of their catalog on a Greatest Hits record? That’s what makes this song so special, and really cements this double-release in Kylie history. It also is the start of a wonderful partnership between Kylie and Jake Shears. This song is absolutely beautiful, and the ‘ultimate’ example of what makes Kylie the pop star of several generations. Her vocals are on-point, the lyrics stunning and beautiful, and the stripped down production just has enough kick to make the song pure pop. (11) @IndieKylie
