MEDONER 1,676 Posted April 30, 2017 Share Posted April 30, 2017 The problem of the Joanne trilogy is that it gets boring in the middle, while during the ARTPOP film it just gets better and better also I remember crying my heart out watching the video because it was clear how hurt she was about the betrayal of many people she thought were her friends when in reality they only cared about the money making machine she once was. (But I still love Joanne) trust is like a mirror, you can fix it if it's broken but you can still see the crack in that ************s reflection. As for John Wayne, fast cuts don't necessarily equate to good editing... Also those colors - whoever did that needs to take color theory... I'll put it this way - I have screenshots from the ARTPOP film saved for painting references... I don't have screenshots from any other music videos saved for that... For me the ARTPOP film felt like Gaga trying too hard to be "Gaga", while Joanne trilogy feels raw, authentic and more mature in general.
