I'm genuinely feeling sorry for her now. This song is flopping in all the major music markets. The first day of sales is when it should be at its most successful but it just isn't. Her mature song underperformed, her generic sexy song is already flopping and the album isn't even out yet. Katy has only experienced flopping in the middle of or the end of an era, never at the beginning. Poor girl is watching this era fall apart before her eyes, knowing that nothing she can do now can stop it. Tonight, I watched a tray of chips fall off the cooker all by themselves but I knew that any attempt to stop it would be worthless because I would only catch the tray and the rest of the chips would fall and I would burn my hands if I tried. So, I just stood there and screamed as it fell. That must be what Katy feels like right now, only it's with her career.

Wait! why would your tray fall slower than your chips? I always thought that chips are so light and have such large surface area: volume, they should fall more slowly than the tray due to larger air resistance, I'm guessing your tray is made of styrofoam? don't use styrofoam trays, they are NOT environmentally friendly, and if you consume styrofoam, they're probably gonna harm you

She will do alright.  I didn't really like CTTR but BA has been on repeat all day. That chorus is crazy good.

I think people either wanted her to go extremely controversial or stay the same. She's kinda in between. Not fully committed to either. 

So yeah it won't do as good as her previous but she's had two massive eras. Bound to happen.

Hopefully, just to show that without the "Luke" formula, she's really not talented and not a great songwriter, tbh her vocabulary is so weak that her new songs shows that easily and you actually notice where she co wrote the lyrics (zombie)..

The songs are simply bad IMO. If she brought a little bit more creativity and musical talent instead of just riding the trends (BA ft Migos being the perfect example of this - a bad move, neither Katy fans or Migos fans really want this) people might be able to latch onto it. Also, CTTR was corny and forgettable. Unless she has some really good tracks up her sleeve... this will be a Bionic era

I thought you'd forgotten about me because we hadn't exchanged words in months! Nice to know that my little moments of eccentricity, whimsical moments of "this is like that time..." don't go un-noticed! So, to give you some extra...

Seriously, though, things always fall in my house and my dad's favourite phrase is "my dinner always ends up on the floor!" even when its not his. He turned the air blue when those chips fell (don't know how it happened, maybe we have a poltergeist). He once dropped my mum's complete plate of dinner face down on the floor and I genuinely thought he was going to break his stiff upper lip stance and burst into tears, his voice was so emotional. He went ballistic on Easter Sunday when I accidentally flicked the lid of my tin of tomato soup onto the living room carpet. Still, at least last night's dinner ended with apple pie and cream. This whole Bon Appetit song made me want pie so much, that when I saw one was bought for dessert on the day the song debuted, it was just too perfect.

Note that I meant fries when I said chips. I meant that because the chips are so light, they'd hit the ground faster and there's too many of them to catch. If I caught the tray, the chips would still fall around my hands, it would just the tray I was saving. And no, it was a metal oven tray I was talking about. I think you're the only one who took what I said seriously!

yep, i always thought about that, a lot of monsters jumped ship and went to stan Kety when thing got ugly for Gagz & Katy was earning #1 now that she isnt doing that good, same ppl will jump to another pop girl

And yes, Gagz no matter what managed to make a really great fandom, we survived ARTPOP and all that ****, plus she really managed to earn new fans during AP, C2C & Joanne, so good for ha
