Bangerz didn't sell worldwide as much as ARTPOP did. Miley's sold +1,5M while Gaga sold 2,5M. Despite being a viral phenomenon, lead single We Can't Stop is today 'only' x3 platinum certified in the US, same as Applause. Wrecking Ball is currently x5 platinum in the US, which is very good, but most of the units are because of the controversial music video views. People just watched it because it was viral and they didn't appreciate the song (a good song imo). Period. DWUW didn't have a music video and still managed to be platinum in the US. Adore You flopped worldwide. It was still platinum in the US tho, because she touches herself in the music video and again, people checked it. I can't even remember how that songs sounds. G.U.Y. tanked even harder, but both were flops. The ArtRave grossed more than 80M$ and the Bangerz Tour grossed 62M.
