Turuncan 131
'Somebody to Love' is also an option. I love it, though.
narcoswing 1,129
No. 9 - Afraid (featuring Attitude) Score: 7,285714286 My own ranking: #5 Highest score: 9p @juju, @RAMROD Lowest score: 2p @kyanewest Comments: Spoiler Personal opinion: The song has a great message and the beat is so catchy. A great album opener! @kyanewest This song almost has a sinister vibe and I guess it fits the title "Afraid" but tbh this song didn't age well, you can hear the late 2000's vibe with the usual Timbaland sound, forgettable song to me, near the end it starts to sound so mixed you're just over it. The kids singing together woulda been a nice touch but it sounds poorly edited, & it sounds kinda outta place and just not well done so I'm giving this song 2/10 I'm sorry it's just not a song to me. Starts well and then goes nowhere. @KING ELIZABITCH Instantaneous and empowering enough to be the opening track although it's a bizzare mid-tempo song. The hook is invigorating and the production is quite smooth. @Turuncan I always expect the opening tracks on albums to be either a very good representative of the album, or so outstanding that it deserves to be the number-one track, if not both. ‘Afraid’ falls to the first category. Being a good-crafted mixture of 80s synths and 2000s R&B beats with a touch of hip-hop, the catchy track summarizes the album in less than 4 minutes ------------------------- No. 9 - Somebody to Love Score: 7,285714286 My own ranking: #6 Highest score: 10p @Turuncan Lowest score: 0p @kyanewest Comments: Spoiler Personal opinion: Like I said earlier I'm not too fond of latin music, but for Somebody To Love I'll make an exception. This song is the **** and I'm not surprised tbh, Rick Nowels who produced some of the best Lana Del Rey songs produced this one. @KING ELIZABITCH The last single of the album if i'm not mistaken. It was a hit here as well and rightfully so. @Turuncan Gorgeous bonus track! Latin flavor, joy, dance; every element that Nelly’s uptempo songs make me think of a nice sunny day. And who is not in a desperate need for somebody to love, just like described in the lyrics? @kyanewest The instru reminds me of one of J.Lo's song. Anyways, boring, even if the instruments are beautiful.

Hades 27,980
You can't give more than one 0. I know you have only 6 participants but you shouldn't include her rates. It's against the rules.

The rest of the rate wouldn't change drastically though even if I were to remove them. I can post the results w/o her afterwards though.

narcoswing 1,129
No. 8 - No Hay Igual Score: 7,35 My own ranking: #12 Highest score: 10p @juju Lowest score: 0,5p @kyanewest Comments: Spoiler @kyanewest Does that translate as "There's no equal"? (mess i'm tryna learn spanish) . I like the drums, very exotic. When she starts to sing I'm sorry but it gives me a Daddy Yankee vibe. Nothing wrong with this song but I don't like it, the verses are weak, the chorus is monotonous, sounds like me when i'm doing a presentation in front of the class and reading each word with no emotion or care in the world. Nothing goes anywhere, no climax, no conclusion, no excitement. @Turuncan I love this one! A little bit of taste of “Mi Plan” three years prior. @KING ELIZABITCH Folklore/Whoah! Nelly hits again. Absolutely love the reggae-tonish vocal delivery of this track. It might seem weird to the gp but this is a pure Nelly banger. The instrumental is on fire!!!! narcoswing 1,129
No. 7 - In God's Hands Score: 7,50 My own ranking: #10 Highest score: 9p @RAMROD, @Haus of Aura Lowest score: 3,5p @kyanewest Comments: Spoiler @kyanewest I like the violins, sounds really different from other songs on this album, I like the piano as well and the soft drums, they all fit together perfectly. But it kinda sounds too "disney" to me, or almost like a Miley Cyrus song back in 2007 or something. @Turuncan As sweet as sugar, as light as vapor, as innocent as a baby. Everything ‘All Good Things (Come to an End)’ is trying to be, but fails to do. @KING ELIZABITCH A beautiful heart-breaking ballad that may not have been a hit but is very well-written. One of those bittersweet traditional pop songs that make you smile.
