I agree with you. And she isn't, but that's not necessarily because she isn't popular enough. Beyoncé doesn't even try with radio or promoting her singles. The way she releases and markets herself is very different to an artist like Gaga, so comparing stats like that is pretty useless.

Okay Sorry for not posting yesterday. I had to work overtime and become too tired. but hey, the numbers is not too shabby. Let's just start!

If daily number is too fluctuative, we can change it to weekly plays to see how it perform. Now that we enter day>7 now we can see!

 2 % Rise. Not that sudden but seems promising. Sleeper hits on the making? to me it's quite delighted since PI for example so frontloaded. so this slowly-but-sure rise is not too shabby. If TC can keep rising it maybe perform well later.

On The Day Seasonality, The graph maybe just like wave. But the trendline is above 0% so it may still rising... a little decrease maybe ok but hopefully it still rebound

 

 

Now that we got more data points, that's the play graph we have so far. And the trendline now I think more reasonable With Optimistic around 1.623.493 (#33) to Pessimistic around 1.258.849 (#50). Now that we get 7 day data, if we put 2% rise, we'll get around 1.520.405 plays #39(=) for tomorrow.

  

Shazam is looking good I think. We got around 17000 shazam/day is quite big. Considering #1 song can get around 40000 shazam/day. the fact that the daily shazam is still rising it mean it get more attention. this might mean radio will tend to play it more.

So far, I kinda enjoy the numbers/the rise so far. What get me happier is that the effect is worldwide. So, enjoy sis! (And get back to work of course)

Damn, was looking at the Kworb radio for TC and seeing what's just above and below it and ... what happened to Green Light? It's played loads here in the UK? That's such a shame, it's really one of my favourite releases of this year.

The Cure is #43 on iTunes but there are 13 discounted songs, 3 songs from the Voice above TC  and many songs that have banners and are on Hot tracks, so its not that bad as it seems +almost all of these songs have bigger airplay and also have a video

It's highly plausible,  most artists write many many songs before picking the best ones for the album. Michael Jackson and Prince both have a huge catalogue of songs they wrote and recorded but were never released. Gaga had ARTPOP in production from mid 2011-2013, 2 years of songwriting would mean a lot of material.
