Like, the vast majority of "hit" singles do not start and remain in the top 10. Let's take a look the the lessons learned: -People clearly like the song when they hear it (it's AI relative to spins shows that) -Radio is apparently here for it. -Spotify is also moderately here for it. -It has been over a week. The "new song!" spark is gone, as we knew would happen. -It's gotten rave reviews, meaning there is interest. -It sold a ton in 4ish days of sales. Thus, when people know it exists, they're here for it. Long story short, it is NOT time for a discount. It is NOT time for a meltdown. Let things play out a bit and see where radio/streaming take us. Crazy how many hits and cycles and promo tours and tours and whatever else she's gone through now. Since starting to follow her on this site in 2009, it has all just begun blending together. I remember thinking "SHE'LL SHOW THEM!" when she used to be called a one or two hit wonder during TF era, and I was convinced that after enough hits people would stop trying to discredit her/say she's a fad.
