Some backdrops were best of Gaga, Queen of using Windows Media Player auras, and bubbles as backdrop. New single of course. MR Remix. Cons: Rehearsal outfit, acoustic set was too long, some backdrops were too static / basic(simply colours in geometrical shapes not changing all that much), no Perfect Illusion that could have been perfect closer. Three of my top favorite Gaga songs with Gaga at her finest, doing what she does best...her at a piano with her beautiful voice and talents. Classic, timeless pop. This is the Gaga I love the most and the one where I feel she is most herself. She was living and so was I. And then that perfect stadium rock ending to Yoü and I...THAT is why that song, along with TEOG, are her best songs, period. A-YO was another highlight for me because I love how much fun she was having and the great rock energy of it. Least Favorite: Applause, with the weird remix they played and even stranger lyric video (with misspelled lyrics...like what?!). Just a strange section. I also disliked the horrible MR remix. Oh, and I love Alejandro, but her performance just seemed SO off, especially vocally. Idk what happened there. Also, justice for PI! She needs to next week. I also LOVE when Gaga yells and growls and the ending of Teeth is just that on repeat. It is freaking therapeutic. AMAZING song to run to. I have it in with my Led Zeppelin playlist actually (to run). It was the perfect timing and the perfect vibe for Teeth after Alejandro. Coachella was also the perfect venue for some of her 'underground' songs. It is supposed to be the trendiest/hippest festival of them all anyways. I wish she could have sang a couple more like AURA. Kalinda 1,130 Posted April 18, 2017 Share Posted April 18, 2017 Edge of Glory, Speechless and You & I was easily my highlight, not just of her set but the entire weekend. She kills it everytime on the piano, and this was no different. I also liked her interacting with the fans during that part, struggling to get her hoodie off was funny, and hugging herself after You & I with the fans singing along and cheering was just too cute. The Applause karaoke part was odd. I know she changed her outfit but it was just for, what, 5 minutes at the end. Wasn’t really necessary IMO and the break after Million Reasons was a bit too long. The setlist I'll stan Alejandro till I die but I gotta say it was a little underwhelming [still vocally on point AF and sexy as hell as usual]...she better not axe it from the "(fill in the blank era)" world tour! But I can see why some monsters didn't dig it this time around.
