Galactastica 314
I think Joanne is easily her most stunning album all together. There is something very authentic about it that I absolutely love. I have noticed there are a lot of fans on here that go head over heals for whatever is newest, then later, when something else is new, they move on to that and shun whatever came before. It's very Exit Through The Gift Shop, to me. Honestly, if I were listening to the radio and The Cure came on, I would have just changed it immediately because it sounds just like any other pop song on the radio right now -- and pop music is not in such a good place right now. I can't think of any other song produced by Gaga that I would remotely use the word "generic" on. It's really disappointing. That said, she can make whatever the **** kind of music she wants, more power to her. We all grow apart and then back together, and apart. It's ok. I just don't dig it. Now that The Cure has been released, I've seen so many people here claiming that Gaga is finally back; they have also been saying that The Cure is better than Joanne as a whole album. I love Joanne, as it's my favorite album of hers besides Born This Way (I also love The Cure), and I thought it was well received amongst fans. Was I wrong? It makes me sad to see so many people trashing Joanne especially since so many were praising it before. Who? Give me names sis
LUO YI 6,089
I love Joanne but with this new single I felt more excited than with the release of the album The night sky tells all

It seems Gaga went "Back To Basics" And Million Reasons sounds like an Adele generic song. Your point?
Antonio 27,756
Joanne is a lot better than The Cure, I really love The Cure but thats the truth
LDGA 1,260
We are not going to see a third single, in think. And Joanne is better than the Cure, so much better.
Joemayzin 4,021
I respect Joanne in its own right, the album hasn't left my car stereo since its been released but i flip back and forth from my iPhone (usb cord) but i will be honest when i say that EDM is my main genre of taste when it comes to my favorite style of music. I love Joanne cause its such a personal album to her but i'm being honest when i say The Cure is def a feel good summer song so hating on Joanne nah but i can see where you're coming from seeing some posts on here! Lumi 3,512
I feel like there are 3 kinds of people in GGD: - The ones that dislike "pop music" nowadays and everything on the radio (Zedd, JB, Ariana, The Chainsmokers , etc) and loved Joanne. - The ones that like that tropical trend and asked Gaga to release "bops" so she could "stay relevant" instead of staying true to herself (and silently hated Joanne and kept hoping that she released TF 2.0) - And those who can appreciate a good song, regardless of the genre Spoiler Personally, I'm in the first group. I JUST HATE POP MUSIC NOWADAYS. It's trash underneath the pine

Illuminati 15,921
I still prefer like half of the Joanne over The Cure to be honest so no. But I'm not saying that The Cure is a bad song either, people shouldn't trash it and call her a sell out now that she's done exactly what her fans wanted her to do for so long. I'm streaming it non stop and so should you.
