Even though she seemed a bit off sometimes, her dancing was full of energy, her vocals were flawless and the setlist was EPIC. The medley intro was as good as the SuperBowl one, which was ****ing awesome, the visuals were brilliant, even her look reminded me of early Gaga. FREEPALESTINE 324 Posted April 16, 2017 Share Posted April 16, 2017 I thought the whole thing too american bullshit. didnt liked the setlist, didnt like her performance, she seemed to be exhausted after a few songs. the set and lights were amazing. loved the visuals and all. but her performance was really far from what i expected. i mean, she still is amazing and i can't imagine or feel what she would have felt there. but she was just too straight whatever, talking like a dude from coachella, just lol. she was just talkin but sayin nothing. her new cured song...RIP. and the dubstep remix of million reasons...just, why? outfits? where? ok, nice pair of boots but still. gurl please. take a break. Idk but it seems like she's high or nervous, but she got better as the show went on. But after watching a high quality downloaded version with the volume turned up... my faith in Gaga has been re-newed. Overall she put on an amazing performance. And her vocals were very impressive. Bradley 59,064 Posted April 16, 2017 Share Posted April 16, 2017 One of the most wonderful shows she's ever done but still - Applause wasn't sung live - Telephone, Bad Romance, Poker Face could've been replaced by Perfect Illusion, Marry the Night, Do What U Want, G.U.Y. - Million Reasons is a great ballad, the remix version takes the soul away from it. There could have been more Joanne songs tho. - I would preferred better outfits. Her execution of the John Wayne choreography significantly exceeded my expectations tho. Summy 58 Posted April 16, 2017 Share Posted April 16, 2017 I loved it, I was having the time of my life this morning at breakfast (ever had a Gagachella for breakfast before ? ) I think she totally delivered, the intro mashup, the backdrop videos, the stylized NYC skyline on stage (at least that's what I thought it was). There could've been more varied outfits but she looked so fierce in her black bodysuit and the wild blonde mane, so I was happy with that. Just recently I thought how sad it was that we were probably never gonna hear Teeth, Venus or Speechless (among others) live again, so she had to prove me wrong TEOG was magical... m-a-g-i-c-a-l, I'm telling you. I loved how she acknowledged Tim and Ricky during You and I. I love those guys and they were really awesome yet again (the rest of the crew too, ofc) The way she dropped the new song was super-exciting. Not gonna comment on The Cure itself though, I gotta give it some time to sink in. I know that my opinion of new songs always tends to take some turns over the first few weeks lol. The way she played MR as that remix was great imo, I loved it and thought it fit this kinda summer sunny festival setting very well.
