Shu Rin 64
LOVE this song so much! Best Birthday Ever! It reminds me of her old unreleased music a lot. Hoping she share's some more new music with us. The Earth remembers, the stones remember. If you know how to listen, they will tell you many things. OMG THANK you. I got in an argument with someone on the charts thread because I pointed out that Tropical House (an already vague/problematic term) is not what this is. This is like Second Time Around / Nothing On (But the Radio) with a fair amount of TLC influence.
Katie14 4,828
The Cure is catchy and pleasant to listen to but its so uninspired. The lyrics are overly simple and cliche and sounds way too "on trend"/basic/ect for a Gaga song. Then again, who am I to complain? She just surprise released a song and its always nice to get new material from her even i I'm not impressed by it.

PopBitch 1,218
I'm so dense that when I first saw this morning the words Gaga and The Cure new song at Coachella last night I thought she wrote a song with The Cure, and I was psyched, thinking we'd see a song like this with The Cure on stage with her. NCgaga 4,324
It's not RandB or tropical. It's pop. I like it because of the mixed vocals. She's doing light vocals in the verse, and light/full vocals in the chorus. Most of Joanne is full voice and heavy vibrato throughout and it's gets exhausting after a while. This is fresh and mainstream. She became famous off this type of music. Quit complaining about everything she does.
Guest
Such a nice song, different from what she's done, it's still pop but the beat is more modern, yet not over the top, it still has a 2008 vibe in my opinion, but it's nice, not GREAT but it's good! I'm happy about it

SEXODUS 5,927
This woman, man... The single is definitely a grower, but I would have NEVER expected something like this just yet. I don't know what to think. She said multiple times that she's gonna do what she wants to do with her music. So she did. Cheek to Cheek before and Joanne after that. But then she realized she wasn't going to please everyone's tastes in pursuing that road, so she dropped something more close to what's trendy on the radios. I just think it was easier for her to reconcile what was trendy with what were her actual inclinations in the past. 2017 is a whole different story, though. So she's gonna do both: do whatever the heck she wants and climb the charts at the same time. I'm here for it, Mom. Do ya thang.

This song is a throwback to Second Time Around and other R&B inflected Gaga tracks, thats all. I agree. I wonder if some people actually know what the word tropical means. Deleted4234 388
I just wanna know what its for. Is it just a single? Is it from a star is born? Is it from a project thats gonna be released soon? Is she putting Joanne music on hold and just focusing on ASIB and releasing this new music until the tour?
