What else were they supposed to do since he was refusing to get off  its terrible to watch but he easily could have stood up and walked off when asked to

i hope he sues them for all they're worth though

Not force passengers off a flight they paid for. If they overbooked, it's their fault. It's not like the passengers in need of seats were paying customers, they were United employees. This particular passenger had patients he needed to tend to, which is why the flight was so important to make. He was eventually let on the flight, albeit bloodied and disoriented.

I've only had terrible customer service experiences with United. They truly could not care less about their paying customers, which is why I refuse and go out of my way to not fly with them. This is a prime example of how disorganized they are. Rather than randomly booting people off a flight, and using violent force to do so, they can offer better incentives to entice those with flexibility in their schedule to take a later flight (they were not giving lucrative voucher options to the customers, hence why no one wanted to switch).

So yea, screw United. This is a disgusting display. The money they could've lost on lucrative vouchers will now be spent on this PR nightmare, lost sales, and an inevitable lawsuit which they will lose.

This video upset me and anger me the same time.

The thing they did, all that dragging, are barbaric, especially he is a paid costumer and have explained his urgency on why he can't gave his seats.

Glad I never have business with them, and after this event, I will never want to use their flights even more. There are so much more options out there.

A disturbing new video has emerged showing the bloody outcome after a United passenger was savagely dragged off his overbooked flight after refusing to give up his seat to a United employee on stand-by.

The video shows the man gripping the curtain at the back of the plane, repeating “I have to go home,” and “just kill me.”

It should have never been escalated to that point. Shame on the airline employees and cops who are involved.

I fell down the stairs once as an actor.

The CEO issued a statement a few hours ago saying he/she/it is gonna review the case with the passenger for more details. Mmhm trying to save face, bitch. What more details do you need?
