No. They explicitly said they didn't want to just fill the spot with someone random since people had tickets and were expecting to find something. They went onto say that Gaga was considered hot after the Super Bowl performance as that gained traction and attention.

And no way would they pick Paulina as a main headliner. The majority of people have never heard of her in the US.

I can't at y'all seeing shade everywhere all the time. To me, it feels like they are referring to Gaga as a rare artist worthy of just as much excitement as Beyoncé, which given Beyoncé's career over the last few years, is a giant compliment.

On the positive side, Lady Gaga is one of the very few, if not the only, artists apt enough to replace someone of Beyonce's stature.

I commend that. I mean articles always mention Poker Face and Bad Romance and act like she stopped releasing music after those two songs. Applause, Perfect Illusion and Million Reasons deserve some mentions.
