[US SCOTUS] Gorsuch to be approved tomorrow

By tomorrow evening it is expected that Neil Gorsuch, Trump's SCOTUS nominee, will be approved by the senate. After successfully failing Gorsuch due to the Democrats filibusters it is expected for Majority Leader McConnell will use what is known as the "nuclear option" which will require only 51 Senators to vote in favor of Gorsuch. This could shape the decisions by the US Supreme Court for the next 50 years, which would be an entire generation. This is due to the fact the Republican Party has control of the whitehouse, both the house, senate, and now the Supreme Court. Unless impeached, it is appearing as the GOP will now completely control the US government. This can be blamed on Democratic nominee hillary clintons failture to win the Presidency and rally enough Democrats to win either the house or senate.

Voters are still getting blamed for the democratic party's failure to address the issues that people actually care about? K.

Yep. She was a failure nominee and the primary was rigged in her favor. She didn't connect with people. The dnc should be blamed on their poor decision making and rigging of the primary

Yeah, I really don't understand why voters get blamed for a canditates loss. If you can't get enough people to vote for you, it's seem to me that that's ur own fault.

She won the popular vote by 3 million votes. Irrelevant if she connected with people.

She didn't connect to the RIGHT people.

This is where Trump excelled. Now many are regretting their vote.

Voters are blamed for not showing up to vote, especially in mid term elections now for years. Sorry the "Democratic Party" isn't talking about what directly makes you motivated, so instead you got a government full of Republicans. People who didn't vote for viable options, didn't show up to vote in the general, and ignore midterms are to blame!

I read a very informative piece on how this changes our supreme court forever.

Now that we have the nuclear option, if the sitting president has a majority senate, he or she can choose a more polarization candidate and get them through easily.

Before the president had to choose a more moderate candidate to get them through the Senate.

Therefore, this would totally make the supreme court a more politically based one, which it's not supposed to be.

So now we'll have more far right judges and more far left judges.

And even though I'm a liberal, i do believe that the meeting of minds is important for a more informed decision.

If she is a failure, that makes Bernie the biggest failure of all. He couldn't even get the nomination. He didn't connect with the people.

The DNC had the same race they always have. Bernie didn't get the votes, he lost.

Weird how Hillary supposedly did nothing to appeal to the working class when according to data job prospects was her most talked about issue while on the campaign

Take a moment to think of just flexibility, love, and trust~
