Sarah McLachlan Inducted to Canadian Music Hall of Fame

Hey GGD!  I don't make new threads very often but, as a huge McLachlan fan, I felt I was obliged since this site is quite musically diverse. [And yes, GGD, I believe that it is your "hunty" Shawn Mendes sitting behind her in the video...only mentioning this to get my girl McLachlan some attention...but please don't turn this into a Mendes thread]  

Her speech is beautiful and her legacy, iconic.  She and Gaga seem to have many shared values, too.   (LGBTQ empowerment, women in music--see Lilith Fair--, human rights domestically & globally, and so forth).  She is incredibly beautiful inside and out!  Here's a brief transcript of her acceptance speech and videos from the ceremony below.  Thanks for taking a look/listen/interest, guys!  Love you, GGD!

I posted her song Silence, the remix with Delirium, not long ago in one of my mini music mix DJ sets on Facebook (lol).   It's one of my fave things EVER.  Happy to hear of her newest achievement!   She also seems like an incredibly warm and authentic lady.  Very cool.
