She did say she was gonna be in the studio until the performance but she didn't say it was an audio recording studio 

to be fair, I rewatched the PI music video recently and actually really love it. and the Intel promo spot, Monster Ball Tour videos, and Elle 2013 shoot were all amazing so I have a lot of hope for this
