Morphine Prince 109,927
The American Hospital Association (AHA) said current provisions for "our most vulnerable" would be thrown into doubt. President Donald Trump met lawmakers on Wednesday to rally them behind the bill, after a stormy 24 hours. Moderate Republicans are concerned people will be stripped of cover, while conservatives sense federal overreach. The bill, called the American Health Care Act, would replace the signature law of President Barack Obama, so-called Obamacare. It would: limit future federal funding for Medicaid, which covers low-income people abolish the requirement that everyone should be insured replace subsidies with tax credits Overall, the plan is expected to cover fewer people than those who gained insurance under the Obama administration's Affordable Care Act, but we will not know the exact numbers - or the cost - for about another week. How is this qualified to be called healthcare? I fell down the stairs once as an actor.

DeleteMyAccount 11,881
Well I hope it sucks and does exactly what all of these organizations are warning us about in terms of costs and cons of this new plan. The only reason this was done was because people hated Obama and Obamacare not because they actually wanted to help people with the new law.

Pacify Him 9,073
Maybe a better plan would be made in the future. Just hope it's not anywhere close to Obama care. Cuz there are the middle class people who struggled with it the most providing healthcare for those undeserving/never worked in their lives/never pay taxes to further the cause I’m getting on your nerves

The problem is that Republicans turned this into a party issue, yet in the 90's even Ginrich was in favor of an individual mandate. At 1:10... He actually explains why Trump's plan will FLOP. "Unless you have 100% coverage, you can't have the right preventative care, and you can't have a rational system...". It seem like the Dems took him at his word and created the ACA which the Repubs trashed just because of Obama. It's only useful if you have dependent relatives or you're by yourself (only if you get incapacitated for the rest of your life and had a high income to begin with). Otherwise, no. The second we are born we need it, because accidents, sickness, and natural death will all naturally happen to every human on earth... When you die...you need THOUSANDS immediately to pay for funeral and final expenses...that's why Gofundme.com, funeral car washes, selling cars, houses, etc exist because people didn't prepare and then become in extreme debt and suffer financially... If you live a fairly healthy lifestyle and you're young...I don't see a REQUIREMENT to having health insurance when you aren't taking medication, don't have any disease, etc...even in the case where you did need some healthcare...go to a free clinic Stream my new single, 💜"Heartbeat"💜, on Spotify!
