Incredible Nintendo Switch Sales!!

Okay, so I have been more or less following the development, promo, and release cycle of the new flagship Nintendo console, Switch. I gotta say that I have been very pleasantly surprised by EVERYTHING that I've seen about the console, from the new features, gameplay, promotion, trailers, aesthetic, etc and it seems that everyone seems to be feeling the same way about the console that I feel! The new console is Nintendo's biggest console launch in terms of sales, even doing better the Wii's launch sales!!!!

I've seriously been holding out for this console and hoping for the best and seeing that it's doing better than the Wii is seriously, shockingly amazing since the Wii was/is one of the most universal, most recognized consoles of all time. Might have to try to get my hands on it (after I save up to buy Joanne World Tour tickets of course ). I'm optimistic this console cycle will bring more greatness to the video game industry that hasn't been seen in a long, long time. But anyway, congratulations Nintendo!! You guys deserve all the success coming your way!

its 1000-1500 dollars here in Mexico sorry but i am not paying THAT for Zelda, maybe when there's a smash or a Pokemon game i will..

The console is selling merely because is new and there's hype around it but the sales will plummet as soon the console's popularity fades because of this:

The most baffling thing from the video is the Dock, I was shocked by how 'cheap' it was, It looks like it reeked of rotten plastic if you ask me.

To add insult to injury, the guts of it are nothing but a circuit board that is good for nothing but beaming the signal to the TV. These are problems by design, not just manufacturing, so much for the 20th hardware platform in Nintendo's history. 

Also, the only console seller they have right now is Zelda: BOTW. Nintendo's incompetence is disappointing, at this point I'll wait for a hardware revision.

It's amazing that Nintendo is even still around, considering they only have Mario, Zelda, and handheld Pokemon games. Good for them, I guess.

I'm in no way defending Nintendo, but I don't think this will affect sales too much 

I don't know if many people remember, but when the Xbox 360 first launched, it was plagued with a ridiculous amount of hardware issues ranging from multiple, frequent cases of the "red ring of death", overheating due to cooler failure, and discs getting scratched beyond repair when it was put in the system and it still went on to be a ridiculously successful console, arguably the biggest console of the last gaming cycle.

But yeah, hoping they address these issues and that the launch titles will hold the console up for the time being (even though there's only like, three )

Remaining very hopeful nonetheless.

And I'm not trying to trash Nintendo but yeah, this is ridiculous and different to the Xbox 360 issues because those were manufacturing issues, switch's are design issues, besides the 360 was Microsoft's second console, this is the 20th Nintendo console, 22nd if you count the Game and Watch and the Colour-Tv Game, so there's no excuse. 

If you have a console with manufacturing issues you can use your warranty, this is not the case with the Switch. Add to that the their line up, it seems like they rushed the console.

And the Xbox 360 was not the biggest console of the last gaming cycle, it was the Wii, PS3 and the 360, in that order. Talking about sales here of course. 

Edit: I mentioned how the sales will plummet because they can't fix the design problems (dock damaging the Switch's screen, Joy-Con straps getting stuck when putting them in the wrong side, dead pixels) until they release a revision, so that's like 2-3 years from now. No one wants to experience that with a new console.

MESS they'll never learn, the wii ds and 3ds u had an awful screen that scratched easily too even with the oroginal stylus, and now this thing scratches with its own cheap doc..

 

nintendo should give up and just release their portables on iOS and Android (Pokemon GO, Duels and Mario Run did very well) and their other tittles on better hardware like the PS4 or something.

 

These games deserve better hardware tbh.

Yeah, it's not the first time they seem to cheap on components and their hardware designs are flawed most of the time, their controllers for example. 

I agree, their software would benefit from other devices. They always try to innovate with gimmicks but their consoles still feel incredible outdated.

Their franchises are top notch and iconic though, they know how to make very special and fun games, consoles not so much.

Only reason i would biy this its because of zelda.....but that is not good of a reason because switch is so cheap.....like its badly desinged it has so many flaws.....its not worht the money tbh.......
