Americans can't understand a simple metaphor and it's even worse when religion is mixed with it :poot:  Judas was deemed to flop :diane:

I can literally imagine the scene where Gaga and her team set down and said "So let's make another Bad Romance kind of song and destroy the charts!"......:poot: see how that worked out :stalkga:

Did she really thought she was gonna get radio play with this line "...fame hooker prostitute witch vomit her mind.....go wear an ear condom next time) I mean, gurl, where do you think you're going :lolga:

Listening to Judas now, my Gay ass thinks it's Godly bop, but I can't believe it was a single and kinda succeeded (2xPlat in US)

Judas was a mega flop in the US. Very different sales climate then and it did horribly vs standards

PI was honestly one of the worst mistakes of her entire career

I 100% agree with that statement. The damage PI did with streaming & radio may never be fixed. Some may say I sound silly, like how can one song ruin everything, but PI really destroyed her on streaming, hugely. Streaming is the future and if she can't make music that fits streaming vibes like her previous work with a pop or electropop sound (TFM, TF, BTW would all do good on streaming), her commercial career will be over. PI ruined radio for her, they are now hesitant to play her which thankfully MR is undoing that damage. But radio and streaming were ready to pick her up and she was going to be huge again, i still remember the pre era Gaga hype, all the radio broadcasters were ready to play her non stop, and PI just destroyed all that. It got horrible call out scores and was way too rock/indie.

It was not a mega flop. It hit top 10 and I heard it on the radio a few times. It is also one of her most watched videos

It was a flop and you're also wrong about PI. One single doesn't have that much power lol.

Taking off in Canada: 3 adds on Pop (Top 5 most added), 1 add on HAC.

With 8 US pop adds and 7 HAC, 19 adds total this week.

It kinda did flop i remeber Hearing It on the radio like twice also it fell really fast after its it's first week on bb. Judas is one of my fave videos but alot of the views are from Christians fighting In the comments about it and also that's when gaga would release a video it would be like an event people would be like have you seen the new gaga video? I just remember the likes to dislike ratio when Internet first came out being very close

Today is official PI day btw, any effect on the charts? :poot:

"Pi Day is celebrated on March 14th (3/14) around the world. Pi (Greek letter “”) is the symbol used in mathematics to represent a constant — the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter — which is approximately 3.14159. Pi has been calculated to over one trillion digits beyond its decimal point."

It was an underperformance, I would not call a song that was top 10, radio airplay, and has over 300,000,000 views a mega flop.

PI does have that much power. Radio programmers were so ready for new Gaga music, they wanted a pop star. Gaga did not give them that and they black listed her for awhile. Streaming is the future and PI is extremely anti streaming sounding, did not fit the streaming mold which damaged her. The charts will soon be based on 60% streaming since its popularity is soaring, PI damaged her hugely.

The audacity of someone to say PI was damaging while saying Judas was a hit. Alright.

It didnt flop but underperformed compared to BTW and TEOG. But it did hit top 10 and was VEVO certified so it can not be classified as a flop.

So what could've been a better option as the lead? A-yo/mr/DIC?

Honest question

MR. But at least it's taking off now on radio so it's alright. It would've been more painful if it flopped.

MR is the only real hit on the album anyway.

Honest question:blush:

MR.

Apart from that, probably lots of scrapped songs that didn't made the album
