I think it would be a good place to showcase Joanne songs like Hey Girl\Come to Mama & DiC (and Perfect Illusion for sure). She can easily do all of these 17 songs. Obviously Perfect Illusion and Million Reasons but also AY-O, John Wayne, Diamond Heart and Dancing In Circles at least. Would be the perfect time to bring Florence out for Hey Girl. It's a lot, but I think it kind of covers why so many of us are saying that...basically, perfect promotional opportunity, especially to introduce to an audience that is not pop-focused at all (this is, at it's heart, an alternative music festival), great venue for it, good to test out tour, not giving off impression of being a legacy act (it works for Super Bowl but if you keep clinging to those old hits, people will get tired real quick). Like I said on that post, hate to bring up Beyoncé, but I highly doubt she would have gone up there and performed her hits, whether that's what audience wanted or not (they wouldn't; this is a hip audience that wants and is open to something new). I hope Gaga does the same and does not stick to the hits...they have a place, especially if reworked, but the show needs to be 80-90% Joanne. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
