ItWasntLaauv 6,392
I honestly love La La Land so much and I haven't seen Moonlight (I hope to soon, don't drag me please) but for some reason I still predicted Moonlight would win. I thought the producers coming out and saying La La Land didn't win was a joke at first and then

pink sushi 4,351
It was a mess but on the bright side, Steve Harvey did a great job of hosting!

Baduizm 551
Moonlight>>>>>> La La Land Lala Land is a love story wrapped up in a musical. Moonlight is a love story that covers issues of race, sexuality, poverty, and social class... tied together with some amazing camera work (the first shot of the whole movie is like a minute straight!) LaLuna 12,732
No way, there was a mix up? It's stuff like this that makes these snoozefests watchable Can't really weigh in on the choice for Best Film though, I haven't seen any of the nominated movies

It was about time they showed on screen the budding romance between two white, beautiful people complete with L.A scenery and forgettable songs. He was given the wrong envelope Why would anyone blame him anyway? He didn't read the card. Tonight was the most glorious mess Faye Dunaway has gifted Hollywood since Mommie Dearest. Guest
Emma Stone beating Isabelle Huppert is like Taylor Swift beating Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart! Hollywood once again cares mostly about its image!

With a 50s musical theme, it has great production design and score. (Opinion) But the story is flat, and the singing and dancing is too basic compared to Hollywood classics. I could not believe it, I was actually stunned.
