ARTPOP preferred second single?

Remember when Gaga gave us the choice of: MANiCURE, Sexxx Dreams, Aura and Swine for the second single, chose Venus at the end, then changed it to Do What U Want 

I also included G.U.Y and Gypsy, since they were the choices for the 3rd single, but could've worked as the 2nd single IMO

Venus wouldve been a catastrophe chart-wise, worse than GUY. I literally dont understand why people think this wouldve been a good single. Far too off putting to non gaga fans. 
Wouldve loved a Venus video though, still a great song.
