So if I arrive at like 6am in Detroit, does that mean I won't get a shot of getting into the pit?

And after I get the wristband, can I go about my business and then come back at like...6?

You have to be back at 3 or 4 I believe and it depends on how many people are camping.

They have been camping at ALMOST every venue for 5-6 days in advance(or more) and in groups. Its best to scope out the venue the week of and keep updated here to see what the status is

Hope this helps.

That's helpful but a little disappointing. My college is about 2 hours away from the venue and I have to do work during the day. I would just get a regular seat, but they're all sold out at this point.

Don't loose out hope!! I feel that the further east the Ball gets , the worse the weather will be and MIGHT keep people from camping as long  !!!!!

Hey guys im going to Nashville.. is it true that you can't line up at the venue before 8am? My tickets are will call and I wont have them at the time of the wrist band thing but I will have my ticket confirmation and ID and credit card used to purchase the tickets.

so the new NA leg rules about not camping or lining up too early aren't being enforced at all?

No. :flop:

The keyholder at my show and the following night were there 8 days. And Gaga's team pretty much supported them.

Being in Nashville.. its much smaller... when I went to the Monster Ball I got there at 9am with GA tickets and there were only 26 people there. We waited there all day and ended up being right at the front. I wonder if this is gonna be the same for the Monster Pit?

Hey just an fyi there are still seat tickets left for Detroit on Ticketmaster. I just looked. I too am going to this show and have GA tickets and a 3 hour drive and the earliest I can get there is the night before at 10ish but its going to 30 degrees I'm sure and that's way too cold to camp overnight that's below freezing so I'm hoping a few hours early will be enough to get a decent monster pit spot!

I was aiming for the Monster Pit, but life kept me from camping. I, along with 150 other people after the Monster Pit cutoff, was given a priority GA numbered wristband, so I got let in after the GH package people but before the rest of GA. I got an excellent spot right near the catwalk.

Now, after having seen the show live, I'm kind of glad I wasn't in the Monster Pit. I feel like if you are in the Pit, you miss out on a lot, especially when it comes to the segments where she talks to the audience; she has her back to the Monster Pit almost the entire time. The Monster Pit used to have a personal interaction segment with Gaga during the show-and-tell after Bad Kids, but Gaga doesn't do that anymore. Also, if you are in the Monster Pit, you miss Gaga's butt flashes lol.

She's on the catwalk plenty of other times throughout the show as well. Gaga looking at me dead in the eye through her headdress as she rode by on the mechanical horse was amazing (I loved that opening!). It seems to me like the Monster Pit people would have to do a lot of swiveling their heads and stretching their necks to see her at all times. I was able to observe the entire stage, catwalk, and video screens from my position. Of course, the view when she is on stage in front of you is no doubt amazing. And if you have hopes of getting picked to go up on stage with her, then the Monster Pit is the way to go. But I was very happy with my regular GA position. :gaga:

I feel the same way! I was disappointed for not getting in the pit but by the end of the show I was quite happy that I wasn't. Especially since the very last set was (at my show, anyway) entire on the end of the catwalk.

That's awesome that you still got a wristband for GA, though. We didn't. The person in front of me got the last pit wristband, so we were told that we'd be the first GA ticket holders on the floor, but people ran inside the arena and that didn't happen.

What time do they actually let the priority GA people in? Unfortunately, I'm not going to be able to stand in line all day. I could potentially show up there at like 6am to get a MP/priority GA spot, but then I'd need to leave and then come back.

Hey I'm going to the show today in St. Paul, wondering where the best location outside the monster pit with GA tickets would be? Like is there a specific area around the catwalk I should aim for?
