Chart Discussion: Joanne / Million Reasons

the only mistake of Joanne era was releasing Perfect Illusion as a lead single. After first listen I knew it would be a complete disaster chartwise. Other than that her team is doing amazing job...

but let me talk like a little manager for a sec and show you how it should have gone

1st single - Dancin In Circles ft. The Weeknd/Drake/Rihanna (choose one streaming force) =  fans are happy because it's a bop with 2009Ga vocals

2nd single - Million Reasons with better video and no intro (1 minute intro kills the replay value even for me so I can't even imagine what it does to the GP)

3rd single - whatever she wishes. Give her complete creative control over MV

ending the era with 2 smashes, properly introduced to streaming era, acclaimed album with amazing SPS numbers thanks to multiple hit singles

live each day like Gaga might drop an album

Gaga's songs produced by RedOne are completely the opposite to JLO's or his solo music lmao

None of Gaga+RedOne songs sound dates. Just name one. And they charted amazing.

That's subjective.

Judas didn't chart in an amazing matter even though it was produced by RedOne completely + was the second single coming from the blockbuster Born This Way.

PI may have been a flop chart-wise, but there's no way it wasn't one of the main reasons the album opened with 200k. I guarantee, had they gone with something as blah as A-Yo, the album would sell much less.

A-Yo is the only song left on the album with some hit potential besides the titel track and all you A-Yo haters will deal :classy:

I hate AYO but I completely agree with this statement 1000%.

That song would bomb completely, it has no potential and she has no plans of making it a single now
