I think we need to make a team to expose Spotify, and find person from the inside to be our source. Payola scheme and how they manipulated play numbers. We should make documentary A Million Reasons: A look at Tumbling Down Music Streaming Industry. Do interview to the songwriters, victims (such as Meghan Trainor for example, or Ariana since Into You didn't make it to top ten). I think we can call Diane Warren again to make the soundtrack. It will eye opening to everyday people, and revolutionized the music industry. We could get Oscar for Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature and Best Original Song. How cool is that? not to mention exposed spotify too.

Good thing Gaga pays DIC dust. Great song but not worthy of big performances or a radio release. Esp now that MR is becoming a sizable sales hit, she better follow with AYO.

Urghh I really hope everyone can see JW's and DIC's hit potential. The GP now are like kinda done with standard 'pop' songs with a strong chorus and all like back in 2009. They want more experimental and modern music with a good build up and a drop, even if it sucks balls, so JW and DIC are rn perfect for the GP.

i just feel like the GP wants a different more honest, real sound from her right now. Come to Mama has lyrics that bring people together and a sound that everyone can love. I don't see AYO or DIC doing much chart wise.

The only reason why I can think that Love on the Brain is becoming a hit is because 1. it's from Rihanna, 2. it's got a lot of airplay exposure, and 3. she blew everyone away with her performance of the song at the AMAs. Other than that, it's not even a sure fire hit. My friends are not the least bit interested in singing along to it, or even listening to it. People rn want songs that don't sound 'safe', songs that are more 'experimental' and 'cool'. So DIC would definitely do better than that CTM imo.

I think Come to Mama would be the best choice if this was the case.

Come to Mama...is experimental? :what:

Idk how to explain to you, but I guess hits nowadays need to have a certain 'attitude' and 'coolness' to it as well, something that can make the youngsters feel hip and cool. CTM doesn't do that.

This is really interesting to see where gaga will go with her new single. Hopefully whatever her and her team choose to be the next big single is as big as they hope.

A-YO is the only song left that is suitable for radio, and even then it isn't a sure-fire hit because it's Gaga and radio boycotts her.

This is why MR just HAD to be milked, it was the only guarantee of a hit this era I think, and maybe if it becomes big enough, then the good sis A-YO could have a decent prospect of becoming even just a moderate hit.

But I am here for a video for DIC or some other song, the promo video for JW has already become a rousing success :lolly:

I just feel like many of us are still stuck in the past, like back in 2010 or something. Music has changed GREATLY since the past 2 years, and I'm still trying to get used to it, and perhaps Gaga and all of us should too, if we want to have another hit. :firega:

Lol monsters will never give up on Dancing in Circles, even though Gaga has shown no interest in it.

I think A-YO's time is over.  It had a lot of time to shine during the albums release.

Hey Girl with Florence would be a cute little single.  I'd love some performances of Gaga and Florence together. The music video would be gorgeous. Also if it was a single it would have a better chance of getting nominated for best pop duo song at the Grammys next year.

Guys this Spotify spam thing is a bit cringeworthy. Getting added on TTH is like having a banner on iTunes, they don't just give you a placement/banner. Record labels must pay for a placement on that playlist and all other popular playlists. Harassing Spotify employees hired to actually help people with technical issues is wrong.

Gaga renewed her contract with Interscope which includes the rule that Gaga's manager and/or her record label are not allowed to put her songs on any playlists, let alone TTH, without her consent per PropaGaga. Didn't hear this directly from him but still.
