No other song from Joanne will become a hit.

New album pls.

I'm pretty convinced she's going to milk this album for as long as she can. I would say there are at least 2 more singles coming.

She's touring the entire 2nd half of 2017 (and I bet even more dates for 2018 are going to be announced), so she is not going to have time to put anything out. Her team probably wants to keep the era going until next year's Grammys, when she hopefully gets nominated and it all ends on a high note.

In my opinion she's even going to release another jazz album and get pregnant before releasing LG6.

I'm happy that I'm not a delusional LIttle DICster like the many in this thread. You think you would learn after Judas, and GUY, and Perfect Illusion, and all of the people explaining why you are wrong and you not being able to combat it. I mean, saying that A-YO isn't radio friendly because it has "screeching" when you support a song with a whisper chorus asking someone to "funk her downtown" on a song chasing a trend that had become outdated, truly tragic :ladyhaha:

Spoiler

I guess I should be thankful no one is going for John Wayne

I'm fine with MR being the single as long as possible because we all know ballads push albums. Joanne wouldn't be moving as many units without MR as a single. Look at Dangerous Woman, STS was huge but pop smashes don't push units. It was selling like 4k in pure sales a week lol.

"Sexy lyrics + trendy but unique trop-reggae soundscape + danceable beat + extensive use of the word funk & rhyming = VERY high smash potential."

Ugh, remember when 5 years ago a Top 5 on digital songs could secure you a Top 10 on BB Hot 100. And now look what. Mess.

I acknowledge the dominance of streaming today but I still think it's unfair that a certain demographic (college age straight men) are being overrepresented on the Billboard Hot 100. Women tend to listen to radio and purchase actual singles on iTunes while men tend to stream. That's why The Weeknd, Drake, The Chainsmokers are all over Spotify/AM charts.

you know what else is danceable, fun, unique, funky, and also critically acclaimed and actually Gaga's favorite song, Slay-O. Truly tragic that a fan of LADY GAGA would want her to do exactly what everyone else is doing, guess they don't really know who she is.

Do you have any real evidence it's mostly that group steaming? Because honestly, I could see many women listening to the chainsmokers and The Weekend.

not really, it's pretty much a modernized throwback to funk and country-pop.
