I strongly believe "the world" was ready for a new Gaga song, she really had changed her image with C2C and with the amazing Oscar and Grammy performances, Perfect Illusion just wasn't a good single. Radio was here for it, the GP was (kinda) here for it, and if the song would have done well streaming would have followed. I know it shouldn't, but PI being the lead still bugs me :cryga:

and based on the initial reactions to PI, the world was ready for a new Gaga dance-hit specifically. Imagine if MR was released with that anticipation by the GP in mind. She would bomb even more.

OT: I'm so happy MR is doing well

We're allowed to have discussions :oprah: we aren't complaining, rather just wishing her team and label would help push her into becoming a streaming force. It won't happen without their help and the streaming services' help.

You've been saying it for like 10 pages now. People understand. No one is without the realization she needs to pick up in streaming eventually.

I agree with you all I'm saying is don't expect her to become a streaming force with this single.

Me either. Ready for summer smash DIC to turn her into a streaming force after Million Reasons finishes saving the era :classy::gaycat:

Last place, worst scores of 2015 and in the top 5 of worst scores of all time. It had a negative 'Positive score', which is very rare :poot:

Shes already on playlists for Spotify and Apple Music. Why are you continuing to push this for multiple pages :air: We get it

Not important playlists and the playlists she is on, she's low on the track list and getting low exposure.

I think that's what Interscope thought too. Not to mention that the initial reaction from fans when MR was premiered was even more tragic than the reaction we got to PI. I think they went into this knowing that Gaga is in a place, where she needed an EDM song to have a smash lead but she basically made an acoustic album. So they picked whatever seemed as close to where she left off with ARTPOP and hoped it would bridge the sound between the the expectation and the reality of what Gaga has created.

Perfect Illusion really died for our sins.
