Dark Anatomy 2,284 Posted February 12, 2017 Share Posted February 12, 2017 BEFORE YOU READ, THIS THREAD WILL OBVIOUSLY NOT SUIT EVERY INDIVIDUALS OPINION. SO TRY NOT TO TAKE IT TOO SERIOUSLY. So I'm sick and i've been rewatching all the seasons of American Horror Story on Netflix...and after I finished Hotel I kind of realized something...Gaga's albums/eras have pretty much perfectly mirrored the Quality and Success of past AHS seasons. Here is my analysis... The Fame = Murder House Incredibly strong opening. By no means perfect, but powerful enough to kick start a polarizing career. Gif Equivalency: The Fame Monster = Asylum A true indication of artistic ability/execution. The perfect mix of over the top and sheer brilliance, wonderful concept, and as close to perfection as it comes. Minus, Teeth...which is like the alien of the album. Gif Equivalency: Born This Way = Coven Probably the most entertaining of the bunch. Its highs slay your existence but its lows prevent it from being perfect! Still one of the best and full of heart, but just a tad bit campy for some's taste. Gif Equivalency: ARTPOP = Freak Show One of the best and most versatile concepts to work with, but lacks severely in execution. There are maybe one or two highlights...but by the end it was all just a damn mess. Gif Equivalency: Joanne = Hotel A return to roots in a way. Overall MUCH higher Quality then its predecessor, but there are times it lacks direction. So you're left a little mixed. Gif Equivalancy: Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Well Coven has grown to be some people FAVORITE season. As Born This Way has grown to be people's FAVORITE album. Coven was very entertaining but had some campiness...like BTW. Teeth is one of the most original songs on The Fame Monster, in my opinion. Idk it never had to grow on me tbh. But that's just one opinion out of a mass. Obviously this won't work for you specifically but matches pretty well within fandom as a whole.
