The Fame's sales up 1605% in the UK since Gaga's SuperBowl performance

Lady Gaga's Super Bowl Halftime Show on Sunday (Feb 5) has seen huge sales gains for the star in the UK, OfficialCharts.com can reveal. 

Based on data from today's Official Charts Company sales flash (Feb 7), Gaga's latest album Joanne has seen a 222% sales uplift and is heading for the Top 20 on this Friday's Official Albums Chart (Feb 10). The record last appeared in the Top 20 three months ago.

The singer performed just one song from Joanne at the 13-minute Super Bowl set, her latest single Million Reasons, which has so far peaked at 39 on the Official Singles Chart.

Gaga's debut The Fame, songs from which made up the bulk of the set, is on track to return to the albums Top 40 for the first time since October 2011 this week, currently at Number 37. The collection has seen a massive 1605% uplift in sales since the show. 

In America, Billboard reports that Gaga's sales have surged over 1000%, shifting 150,000 digital albums and songs on Sunday, Feb 5 alone. 

According to Deadline, 117.5 million people tuned in to watch Gaga's performance, up from last year's Coldplay, Bruno Mars and Beyonce special. The most-watched halftime show is Katy Perry's from 2015, which topped out at 120.7 million viewers.

Wow... 150,000 album sales in a single day? Damn!!

Does anyone know whether a purchase of TFM Deluxe still counts as The Fame sales? I think TFM EP sales always were counted separate but Deluxe counted as sales for The Fame.

I don't know about the UK, but in the US that's correct
