She was so ready for the mayhem. My mom sent me her tweet when I was at work and I was like :air:

Same, I was like this woman is doing a jazz set for 10 bucks an hour drive away from me and I can't go:giveup:

I can only imagine the mayhem!

I wish I had known that she was going to the HoB the first night! It was just so crowded and the way they were directing people out of the venue it seemed like Landsdowne street was shut down entirely.

I should have listened to @DawnNutella and gone there because then I could have seen her sing jazz! :tony:

You so shoulda went :tony:

I totally would have gone and probably made it in the first night because she didn't advertise it. But I honestly didn't expect her to go and my sister looks 15 and didn't have her license on her so both of us wouldn't have been able to get in.

I unfortunately couldn't go because 21+, and I wasn't able to wait around for too long after. JazzGa is my actual life so I was a little upset about it, but I'm glad I got the closure that I literally wasn't able to go.

Kind of the same. My sister was with me and she lost her ID in NYC the previous week...so there is no way that they would have let her in. So at least I can be comforted knowing that we couldn't go...rather than I am just too stupid and went home. :smh:

The second night she sang a few songs. She was up there a while. It would have been hard to get in though since she announced she'd be there.

ALSO my tips for GA: you do NOT need to line up too early. I went less then an hour before doors opened and went in before 90% of the GA people, also there's no point in trying to get to the very front stage, instead be ready to follow her around as she goes from stage to stage, go before she ends the song. I followed her around and got front row spots at almost all the stages, also wear comfy shoes.
