BuzzcutSeason 3,307 Posted February 4, 2017 Share Posted February 4, 2017 I'm pretty lazy so i'm not attaching links but if you look into it it's a proven fact Katy, Beyoncé, and even Rock Acts usually take advantage of some sort of lip syncing or miming during the Super Bowl. Its hard for mic-feed to be heard above the roaring stadium, etc. The Black Eyed Peas sounded really bad and they were completely live (they aren't that good live anyway but still..), and there have been setbacks in the past due to "performing live". It's not really based on talent either, I'm pretty sure live mic levels cannot completely overpower the crowd, etc. One example: So...what are your thoughts on Gaga being completely live on the Super Bowl? Do you think it's a good idea? Personally I applaud her staying true to never lip syncing, but I hope sound doesn't get in the way. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

She has a problem with lip syncing for people who pay to see artists live, but none of these people are paying for her. They bought tickets to see the game. I want and expect the same from Gaggle. I'm hoping the backing track isn't too loud, that seems to be a reoccurring issue with her. The only time I'd support lip-syncing is for certain vocal parts, like an extremely high note or complex run, but Gaga doesn't have any, so . She does her tour live, the national anthem at the biggest show of the year live, a tribute in front of all her future peers live, live live live, let's stop asking this question, because we start to sound like the GP who astonishingly are astonished!
