Lady Gaga, We’re Begging You To Make Your Super Bowl Show A Huge Protest

"Hey girl!

Listen ― I know you’re probably super busy wrangling unicorns and practicing your choreography with the coven of millennial anarchist witches you hired to appear with you at the Super Bowl halftime show on Sunday, so I’ll keep this relatively brief.

-----

I know you care about this country and I know you care about the women and the queers and the people of color and the immigrants and the Muslims who live here and who are terrified of what could happen to them over the next four years. I watched you powerfully address sexual assault at the Oscars. I’ve seen the moving speeches you’ve given at Pride events and marches. I’ve read about your support for the Black Lives Matter movement. I know who you are and what you stand for and I thank you for all of it.

-----

But I’ve also noticed that in the last month, aside from a handful of social media posts, you’ve been unusually quiet about the current political climate and that just doesn’t seem like you. You feeling OK?" ( :awkney::awkney::awkney: )

If she says something political, people will be angry.

If she doesn't say anything political, people will be angry.

Who knows what she'll do.

This is Gaga's moment. Why make it all about an orange pig?

This. I hope she just uses it as a moment to spread happiness, fun and love not a direct jab at Trump and not as a protest

So now we are all gonna pretend like y'all did not turn on Gaga when she needed you. Now we all like her again right  :nails:

And they won't be there again when her career takes a nosedive after any backlash:madge:

It's time we need some peace in this country

she should try to bring the country together with the performance, making a political statement will only break people apart, and it won't accomplish anything

She literally voiced her opinion every day like weeks before the election, she sang for Hilary, she went on a "protest" after Trump won.. I mean, not sure what she needs to do more..

Certainly NOT  make the SB performance political, people don't want that, and it shouldn't be used for that imo

Completely agree with them. The Gaga I fell in love with and still love wouldn't think twice about standing up for minorities who are being targeted. :applause:

That will literally accomplish nothing. It's already established that the president is terrible and <insert every single insult>. Why should she talk about it? It's nothing new that he's trash.

Honestly, for just a few moments, I want to forget that and have some fun with her music.

I fell down the stairs once as an actor.
