The very first sentence of the source you quoted states that their first child to do, died under the presidency of Obama.

Casualties of innocents is sad and unfortunate, but it's one of the many consequences of wars. It goes beyond who ordered the strike because this happens as a result of all military actions..

This is not attack on Trump, I never defended Obama's drones and targeted killing of U.S. citizens. 

 

Your last paragraph is justifying war crimes and it's making me nauseous. "Consequences of war" is not excuse for an army to break into someone's home and slaughter every breathing person inside, there is something called Geneva Convention and rules of war. There is a tribunal for war criminals. These are war crimes. War crimes were committed under Obama's presidency and Trump is continuing and going further, are you happy now?

Obama ordered a drone strike on an American citizen, Anwar al-Awlaki. Now,al-Awlaki was a big time terrorist, so the Obama administration felt justified in assassinating him.

But it gets worse: after that, they ordered a separate drone strike specifically to take out al-Awlaki's 16-year-old son. Who was also American, and who was not a terrorist.

And they justified it like this:

I didn't say war crimes are justifiable whatsoever I simply highlighted the fact that this isn't the first time it's happened, it won't be the last and President Trump is certainly not the first POTUS to kill innocents.
