I'm pretty sure she'll emphasize on how important is to stay united, no matter what's happening. And also talk about kindness, tolerance and equality.

But I don't think she'll reference Trump in any way. Its not worth it.

I'd love to see even a little sprinkling of political shade. I understand the argument that Gaga should just leave politics out, however she's always been one to fight for the underdog -- that's partially why many of us are here. Halftime is a global platform, and there are millions of people who can benefit from her "voice" in more ways than one, in more ways than just hitting the right notes. She is more than just a pop star. She's an intelligent woman with diamond heart (hehe), which is just as important as 173 million sales. imo her advocacy is a huge part of WHY she's earned those sales. It's easy to say "leave politics out" when you're not the one who needs a voice. We've all needed her at some point. I know I still do. :) <3

Get the pinot ready, because it's turtle time.

She's been waiting to do this her entire career. She just so happened to be signed at the time when Trump got made president, a time when she, as a very outspoken singer about politics, would be expected by her fans to make a public statement about it. But the timing just isn't right. This could be her final chance to make a proper comeback. Trump of all people shouldn't be the one to ruin that. It just isn't fair. Gaga's done more than enough anti-Trump statements already. She performed BTW and Come To Mama at Hilary's campaign and made a speech. She directly tweeted Melania, calling her a hypocrite to be taking a stand against bullying when her husband was the biggest bully of all. She said that she was against Trump in an interview. She wore a suffragette outfit just before voting day. She was out protesting at Trump Tower after he got elected. She tweeted about the Women's March even though she didn't attend. Exactly how many more statements does she need to make? She's made a lot more than most political artists have. She's done her bit, now this moment is all about her and the music. She can make a statement at other times, just not now. She'll likely make obvious choices with songs about acceptance and unity. That will not go unnoticed.

Remember that she's going to announce the tour the next day. If she does a statement to piss people off, she could see demand for her tickets being very low. It's going to be a major low point for her if this happens. Demand for Beyonce tickets were through the roof after she did her non-political performance but if Gaga does something controversial, the exact opposite could happen. Gaga's trying to make people focus on her music right now, not the crazy image and theatrics that she was always known for. Too many people think she's all about controversy to get attention. It would be great if they were just blown away by her sheer talent without any 'gimmicks.' I'd rather her performance got remembered in the same way Beyonce's was - for singing and performing great, not for any controversy. Let's be honest, Beyonce ultimately recovered from her Black Panther costume stunt last year because she was hugely popular at the time and the public tend to be more understanding of a black person making a political statement than a white person (the general assumption being that whites shouldn't have anything to complain about). The music industry doesn't like it when white women get political for reasons that I don't agree with but that's just the way it is. Reaction to Gaga being political before have been mixed at best. We don't need existing opinions to be shoved massively in the negative direction.

Gaga's still going to be making music when Trump is no longer president. She needs this comeback and she shouldn't ruin it for herself by making it into a political protest over something which, at the end of the day, is going to be temporary. Gaga doesn't need anyone to hate her right now. She's been through too much hate recently that's completely undeserved. Of course, a strong Trump supporter was never going to be interested in Gaga anyway, but now their hate for her would be increased tenfold if she did a big anti-Trump statement and this hate would continue for as long as Trump is president. I don't want to see Gaga getting death threats, rape threats, getting booed in public. But that's what could happen if she makes this moment about politics.
