I don't think she will do anything Anti-Trump, but I feel like there is going to be a positive kind of statement. And the fact that she might perform Born this way is a statement in general

You want her to be murdered by her own fans, apparently

I don't get the appeal of the song and I honestly don't understand why this fanbase want her to perform it so bad, she can make an statement without the song if that is what they want. I just hope it does not take the place of one of her actually good and iconic songs.

Hell no. Super Bowl is not a place to make political statements.

The mentality that there's a right and wrong place to speak out about what's right and wrong will enable wrong to continue

Sorry but I'm not here for her performance getting overshadowed by her shading Trump. She can talk about him wherever she wants, but if you're doing the performance of your life, dedicate it to you and your discography.

Honestly, it'd probably help her because her target audiences hates Trump. I don't think it'd hurt to pull a Coldplay.

No, the halftime is about entertainment, not political statements  It's a fun show and it should stay that way. Also, it could be risky for her career, in barely 9 years she had enough backlash :toofunny:

I think she will just focus on giving an entertaining show, but I wouldn't mind, artists should use their platform to talk about important subjects

With all of this happening rn, I'd be very disappointed if she didn't make a statement.

Look, she can wow people with a spectacular performance for 12-13 minutes, but what will her performance be remembered for or as? I think she needs to use her voice and power to make a statement and spark some controversy and really extend the conversation further. She is known for being controversial anyway but I think if she made a statement, she would actually be commended for it.

I'd be here for it if she does a positive message and not just take shots at Trump. Performing Born This Way with people from various backgrounds, communities etc would be a strong and positive message.

Any cheap shots at Trump will overshadow the entire performance and would be tasteless.

I don't see how any platform where you will have so many viewers could be seen as a 'wrong place' for someone to voice something they believe in, it's seems like such an obvious way to reach people and bring them together.

It's logic programmed into us by society to prevent change.
