Harper wasnt that bad

 

Environmentalists just hated him because he didnt implement some costly green policies and because he favoured a few pipelines

 

I think sometimes he didnt take climate change seriously enough, but ppl blew it out of proportion

 

I like balance. Yes shift towards a greener economy... But shift gradually and pick a few battles at a time

 

Trying to change everything at once like some environmentalists demand is economic suicide

 

Just look at Ontarios crazy hydro rates and that fact that manufacturers dont wanna move here despite lower currency

 

We thought Ontario would get the industrial boost instead Quebec is getting most of the manufacturing development. Their electricity is like 1/4 of the cost  

 

I hate extreme right-winged parties. But extreme far left socialists piss me off too. They couldnt care less if they world economy collapsed into a depression if it met their goals

The only thing Trudeau is better in is infrastructure investments we desperately need that will boost economy while keeping deficits still low enough to not increase our debt to GDP Ratio. Harper was so stingy he was trying to force a surplus no matter the costs

 

But hed bring up controversial necessairy changes like raising retirement age and old age security to compensate for aging population and falling birthrates

 

Trudeau doesnt have enough thick skin to displease anyway and so he throws issues like this under the rug by not bringing it up at all costs  

 

Hes like the Rihanna of politics. Doesnt get much hate by being generic and avoiding controversial stances and comments. But underneath theres little substance
