How much private property will the government have to illegally acquisition? How many native American burial grounds and reservations will they be paving over/driving heavy machinery through? I remember hearing an Indian man's story about seeing his family members bones in the treads of bulldozer tires when they built the fence. Can we expect that but on a larger and more offensive scale? How far inward will the wall have to be built? You can't build anything that blocks the flow of the Rio Grande, that includes the existing border fence. At the moment, there are parts of the U.S. that are cut off from the rest of the country, stuck between the fence and the river/actual border. Won't this just aggravate this issue? Or will Texas and the other border states allow them to break the laws like they did when they built the fence? How many endangered species will be affected? When the fence was built, there were a number of species threatened by its construction. What will be the contingency plan if (when) people use ladders or tunnels to go over/under then wall? How about when people move drugs over/under the wall the same way they move them over/under the fence? Lastly, who's going to pay for this ridiculous f*cking thing? An estimated 50-75 billion dollars for its construction and double that by the time Pence leaves office in 2020 for maintenance. Who's footing the bill? The middle class, first time homeowners, the ACA tax credit fund, pell grants, education funding, services such as cancer screenings and AIDS testing, etc. for the poor, money that was set aside for environmental safety and park services, money and services for the poor and elderly,....
