no thanks and fyi sean paul ain't that big, he only got added to cheap thrills because it was a sleeper hit and his label paid for him to be on it because they knew it would become a huge hit

She's never going to do it.

The perfect opportunity was with Sexxx Dreams (an already radio ready song) feat Rihanna. Riri was totally aboard it too, but Gaga didn't take advantage.

Im sure Rihanna wouldn't mind collabing either, she collabs with everyone.

Cheap Pearls as an example?

Everybody loves and adore the version without Sean Paul........... nobody knows yet why he's featured there or wtf he says there..

I think John Wayne could be great, a feature to sing the chorus and not only do do dit dit

So sploosh your juice all over me you Riverboy

DIC with a featuring would smash honestly, but that's something Gaga wouldn't do, and i kind of agree with her.

If the song was originally a featuring, i understand. But to make a remix for a single release seems a bit try hard and desperate for a hit.

DIC can never become a hit...

but you might be right about John Wayne... maybe a collab with Kendrick Lamar

Anyone else agree? I'm using Cheap Thrills as an example, as adding a featured, mainstream artists gives the song a lot more attention from the radio

I would agree but you picked the worst example tbh cause Sean Paul did not add any appeal to the song, it's one of those occasions where not only is it not better than the original but also not even close to being as good as the original his presence is too interrupting imo and i think with the same amount of promo the song would have reached #1 without him.

John Wayne doesn't have a chorus to sing along to. It's great but she should aggressively push AYO and then either John Wayne or DIC as a summer single.

DIC has advantage because it is similar to the generic tropical sound that is popular nowadays, not saying that it's the same thing.

I would love a remix of DIC feat Nicki Minaj or Rihanna. The fan made with Nicki Minaj slayed.

But I doubt Gaga would do this, you know she likes being in studio writing and recording with the collaborating artists now...

If she ruined either of those songs with a featured rapper I would be very disappointed.

I guess i just think that adding a rapper like that makes it more 'club friendly' because, at least the local clubs around where I am, that's always the music they play. So more exposure that way=more popularity=a bigger hit.

Now that i'm thinking about it, DIC would be the best song for a featured artist. It can be a sexy, dance bop with vocals from someone who is known for sexy dance bops (aka Rihanna, Shakira, Nicki Minaj), because i also hear those artists ALL the time at my local clubs as well. 'Side to Side' comes to mind.

No, thanks. If there would be a need to feature artist, then just release Hey Girl :spin:

A-YO would be my favorite single choice! This song is such a bop! :rockstar:

i honestly somehow dislike DIC... it simply feels like it doesn't belong on the album... but that's just my opinion. Maybe the GP likes it as well :)
