Liberty is the human right cited by the supreme court.

IF you are an adult, you have the privilege of having the right to marry.

If you are not, then you don't have that right.

Yes....? Is this a road you want to go down? Arguing that because we allow children time to mature and develop so they can properly choose who to marry on their own, that marriage isn't a human right?

Framing the right to vote as a privilege rather than a right is not just a tactic modern Conservatives are using to manipulate elections, it's a subject that has been debated by American courts and legal scholars for years. It's complicated, which is why voting laws have been so easily manipulated by Conservatives.

It has only been debated by people who want to take away the right to vote from people they don't like.

I'm still not seeing how that makes the right to vote any less of a human right.

All this would do is make the LGBT community hate her even more. :rip:

As if they could. In this thread, like every thread about Jenner, users on this site are calling her a piece of crap, trash, homophobe, and telling her to go to hell. Because you know, they are worried about spreading online kindness and treating everyone with respect.

Who gets to vote, who has that privilege and or right to vote, has been debated since the inception of The United States. Just because you and I don't agree with the other side of the argument doesn't mean that side of the argument doesn't exist.

I never said it doesn't exist. What you call an argument, I call attempting to strip away human rights.

Those "attempts" have been successful. The Supreme court as recently as Bush v. Gore has decided that citizens do not have the right to vote. So if you are asked if voting is a right or a privilege in America, it's fair to say that is more complicated than to say voting is an inalienable right.

It's safe to say that neither of us GGD users are experts in Constitutional Law. So I'm going to end this off-topic conversation here.

On national TV, Jenner claimed to be a Republican, and to 'not quite get' gay marriage, although "if that word — ‘marriage’ — is really, really that important to you, I can go with it".

That was the extent of the 'negative comments about the gays'.

PaperIz

I mean he can hold a flag and dance with a person but that doesn't change the fact that his policies and the policies of his VP are horrible against our community.

What Trump doesn't know is that we dislike Caitlyn as well.

Do we? :flop: I forget who we're supposed to hate and be upset by at this point.
