That 18% are very old folk and muslims mostly, and a tiny dash of what's left of neo-Nazis in Germany. Regarding gay acceptance polls in central and northern Europe youll always see a ~15% intolerance for gays and guess what: around 15% are muslims/arab ethnic and its no secret they hate gays. Take it from me. I live in Belgium and I feel safe anywhere in this country except for Brussels because the morrocans, lybians, etc will not shy to slur and punch you in the face. And in school they proudly said that gays should be thrown off buildings during class debate about marriage. You've got nice muslims too, but 90% wish that you didn't exist. I think it will be forced on them either through the Bundesrat or, most likely, the Bundesverfassungsgericht. Or maybe the opposition could put on some pressure. While the AfD would likely pull out or even try to kill the whole thing (), I think it will happen during the next 4 years.
