Eighteen 5,430
i'm ok with the repeal and replacement of obamacare if they had something better to replace it with. but so far all of the plans they have (there are several) would insure less people and cost more money. the administration is starting off very messy in my opinion. very messy. it's embarrassing. SMILE2NE1 3,566
Let me just leave this here: There is one fact that is both central to the debate over repealing the Affordable Care Act yet strangely absent from explicit discussion about it. One of the main ways the ACA makes health insurance affordable is by providing families earning less than 400 percent of the poverty line (i.e., less than $85,000 for a family of three or less than $47,550 for a single person) with tax credits to defray the cost of purchasing insurance. Giving people money helps make things more affordable. President Obama and the congressional Democrats who wrote the law didn’t find the money for those subsidies hidden in a banana stand — they did what Democrats like to do when paying for things and raised taxes on affluent families. Republicans do not like this idea. They dislike the idea of raising taxes on wealthy households so much that back in 2011, they pushed the country to the brink of defaulting on the national debt rather than agree to rescind George W. Bush’s high-end tax cuts. In December 2012, they tried to insist that they wouldn’t let Obama extend the portion of the Bush tax cuts that everyone (including rich people) got unless he also extended the tax cuts that only rich people got. I feel for the middle-class and less affluent Americans right now, Trump is doing the exact opposite to what he said he would so in his inauguration speech, all the power is going back to the rich

Dominic 11,922
Seeing how America handle their health care is truly shocking. The NHS is far from perfect but it's one of our biggest achievements. I feel for all the people who are dependant on it. Our health service may be stretched, especially in certain areas but knowing that if anything happened to me that I could literally just go and seek treatment is a relief I am shocked America (well, anywhere in the world without a good health service to be honest) doesn't introduce it but it would take so much work to implement. Well to be fair the way its set up isnt the best the higher cost it puts on businesses that must offer benefits to full time workers has resulted in many companies only hiring ppl for under 30h a week so that their workers are considered part-time and dont have to get certain benefits People who got hours reduced dont get many of the health benefits anyway and just ended up getting their pay reduced This may be a big reason why over last few years part-time jobs have made up such an unusual percentage of job creation TBH would of been better if it just all came directly from Government. Trying to force benefits and mixing a system with private sector never works properly cuz companies find a way around it everytime

Trying to force benefits and mixing a system with private sector never works properly cuz companies find a way around it everytime Part of the reason Obamacare worked how it did work though was specifically because an actually effective (single payer is what many people wanted) system that avoided these issues would have been even more vehemently opposed by Republicans though Obamacare was a huge compromise and last I checked, major parts of it were lifted and modified versions of Republican suggested and created health-care ideas from Massachusetts... (Don't quote me on that, I havent read about it in several years) Obamacare did have faults, but its pros outweighed its cons and they clearly tried very hard to make this downsides affect as few people as possible (or affect those who could afford it over those who couldn't, which I think is the right thing to do) 私自身もこの世の中も誰もかれもが, どんなに華やかな人生でも, どんなに悲惨な人生でも, いつかは変貌し, 破壊され、消滅してしまう. すべてがもともとこの世に存在しない一瞬の幻想なのだから
