Love Dollhouse was a girl group that was paid dust

So I just discovered Love Dollhouse, a girl group that released the single "Can I" in 2013.

This song is so catchy, the girls are genuinely friends and they can sing and dance better than current (or recently broken up) girl groups.

There was such little promotion for this group, one of the only performances from the group you can find is this:

that seems to be recorded via somebodies iphone and is clearly lipsynced - which is strange because the girls can sing

Despite the lack of any real promo, the song actually still managed to have some success - peaking at #34 on the Billboard Rhythmic Songs chart.

Group member Ryan Destiny

Is currently starring in Star, an American musical drama television series on Fox.

Naomi Campbell plays her mother on the show:

and she is releasing original music with the cast:

So I still think she is one to look out for in the future, it's just crazy to me though - like I'm generally not even super in to most pop songs, it just seems super clear to me that "Can I" is a bop. I rate it higher than songs like Work by Fifth Harmony, but I'm sure people could at least admit that the songs are comparable.

I wanna know, why didn't they get a piece of that L-O-V-E? Yeah, I wanna know why didn't they get a little more T-I-M-E?

Do you agree that "Can I" is at the very least a radio-friendly bop?

That's kinda the entire point. They are not a well known girl group, they were paid dust and given hardly any real promotion but their single sounds more hit-worthy than any fifth harmony or little mix song I can think of.

I stopped reading here because Little Mix > every other current girl group in every aspect (singing, dancing, songwriting, performance quality)
